Hi folks and AD support,

I'm decided to use SC584 processor for my application which requires:

  • 8ch 24-bit @11025Hz I2S TDM Input
  • Signal Processing Algorithms
  • Connectivity (USB Audio Interface + Bluetooth via UART)

I do unterstand I have to use the SRU to route the corresponding DA0-1 pins to SPORT0-4 to operate in TDM mode.

1. Are all SPORT0-4 available in the ADSP-SC584 EZ-board via P1A/B connectors (Expansion Interface) or are any of them used by other interfaces such as the Audio Interface?

2. Can the single USB included SC584 transmit data while using the board with CCES or should I use SC589?

3. Is it easy to set a USB Audio Interface? (i.e Multichannel 24-bits PCM to use via Audacity, READER or others using Windows ASIO or WASAPI)

In order to get access to the Expansion Interface via P1A/B connectors (FX8-120S-SV(21)) I'm planning to use ADZS-BRKOUT-EX3.

I'm newbie to DSP and SHARC family, so I want to make sure of the feasibility of my project before acquiring the kits.

Thank you in advance,
