Why does the IBIS model for the AD9780 differential data inputs (lvds_dat) not reflect the on-die termination of the device?

Typically, devices with on-die termination embed the termination effect into the IBIS model I-V clamp tables (see section 4.6.3 of the IBIS cookbook). The IBIS model for the AD9780 provided by Analog Devices on the product page does not reflect this behavior in the I-V clamp tables for the LVDS data inputs (Model name: lvds_dat) forcing the use of an external shunt resistor in simulation to reflect anything near the actual receiver performance of the device. Is this on purpose? If this was in error, can AD update the model accordingly?
