Resently I found out simple mistake(Opposite "+" <-> "-") about IB discription in ADA4896, os I want to confirm the point.
Which is IB that is based on the device "Sink" or "Source" ?
Thanks & regards,
Bias current of amplifiers generally has to do with what transistor is used in the input stage. For devices which has NPN transistor as input, there is a small amount of current flowing from base to emitter which we call bias current, and this is why for this devices Ibias is going into the part and is designated as positive. Wherein for devices with PNP inputs the current is flowing from emitter to base, Ibias is going out of the part and is negative.Let me know if you have any clarifications.Regards,Goz
