I am getting a "Invalid Phase Noise Table: Frequencies must be monotonic increasing" error in the Reference Library Editor of the ADIsimPLL software. Why is this occurring? I have attached the entry for reference.
This editor needs to be told the number of rows you are using (the error message is from the last three zero rows) - from the menu choose
Phase Noise Table / Properties
change the number of rows to 7 while preserving the data, and the error will go away.
The simplest way to prepare tables of phase noise (or tuning curves for VCOs), is to prepare them in a spreadsheet, select and copy the cells to the clipboard, and then paste them into the library editor using
the table size will be automatically adjusted.
Thanks. This fixed it!
