Could you tell me the method used for the calculation of velocity random walk on your accelerometers please? I am using the ADXL355 and the figure in the table (Table 2) does not seem to correspond to the Allan Variance plots (Figures 54-56).

Thanks

Hi Andrew,

I had a discussion off-line and see the error you mentioned. The actual value looks like it should be around 6 mm/s/rt(Hr) and not 9 um/sec/rt(Hz) in Table 2.

10 ug/rt(Hz) * (1g/1000000ug) * (9.8 m/s2 / 1g) * rt(3600s/hr) ~ 6 mm/s/rt(hr)

I'll review more data to confirm, but you are correct that the calculation was in error. We will update the datasheet to reflect this.

The values in Table 2 correspond to the RAV curve crossing at the 1 second integration interval.
