I am using HDL reference design for my project for FMCOMMS5 and I am using vivado2015.4. But there is not a release for that version of Vivado. What should I do
You can find which Vivado version you have to use in "hdl/projects/scripts/adi_project.tcl" file.
For example, branch "hdl_2016_r1" has REQUIRED_VIVADO_VERSION "2015.4.2".
That means you need exact Vivado 2015.4 with service pack 2 to get "2015.4.2".
You can use environment variable "ADI_IGNORE_VERSION_CHECK" to avoid exact version check, but you can get broken FPGA build, because ADI uses exact IP Cores version numbers inside TCL scripts.
You can set
before call "make".
HDL branch hdl_2015_r2 needs 2015.2.1
HDL branch hdl_2016_r1 needs 2015.4.2
HDL branch hdl_2016_r1 needs 2016.2
HDL branch hdl_2017_r1 needs 2016.4

Thank you for your helpful reply. Where exactly should I put this command I copy the system_project.tcl file and paste it tcl command when ı write this command before that I still get error
It's not a command, it's environment variable.
Environment Variables (Windows)
Thanks for helping out.
I write export ADI_IGNORE_VERSION_CHECK=1 to the terminal and again copy the system_project.tcl file and paste it tcl console vivado and still get the same error
Do you use Windows or Linux?
To build project you need to use make.
Navigate to the project folder and execute make in it.
Do not use Vivado console directly with system_project.tcl.
Check that you have PATH to your Vivado installation.
I get different errors when I try to make the project
You can find exact error reason in library/axi_ad9361/axi_ad9361_ip.log file
It says /bin/sh: vivado command not found
I said before, you need to have vivado in your PATH.
I don't know where you have vivado, but you need to do similar:
