Customer should always use the VDD/2 (VDD/GND) setting unless the application has an issue with radiated emissions.
A decreased excitation voltage amplitude might reduce emissions, in such a case, the signal to noise ratio can be effected as well.
so advice is to use EXCLVL1, EXCLVL0 = 11.
