I have a design requirement to implement audio DAC.
Can someone suggest any USB based Audio DAC since my host processor doesn't support standard audio protocol(I2S,PCM).
If you search the web for USB DAC you should be able to find ready made PCB solutions for this.
So what processor are you using that would be fast enough to stream audio using USB but not fast enough for I2S,PCM?
Explain your application and perhaps we can help with a different solution?

We are using T2080 processor which doesn't support audio controller inbuilt.
Our requirement is to get the audio data from USB from host processor & convert it into mono analog audio output.Analog output requirement is 9Vp-p with 600ohm line impedance.
We do not have a low cost solution for this. The Blackfin would be overkill for this application! I do know of some other companies who make a USB Audio processor that could do this for lower cost. I probably should not mention the competition here. It is not a market that we have tried to compete in.
When you need some more intensive DSP processing then come back and ask. I would be glad to help you.

I would like to understand exactly what you are doing. I am not certain if we are understanding the same terms in the same way.
A "Host Processor" can be on a PCB and send data to a codec on the same PCB.
A "Host Processor" can be a processor on a windows laptop talking to an external PCB using USB.
Do you have a block diagram of your entire system so I can "see" what you are designing?
For USB to I2S converter, I suggest you go to Google and type in "usb to i2s chip" and you will see several solutions that may fit your application. You will notice that ADI will not come up in this search.
