Loading Sharc Programs in Production

Hi, I am working on a DSP audio project on Sharc, developed using the ADSP-21489 Ez-Kit. I have my program well enough along that I  am now starting to look at board layouts. In the ADSP-21489 Ez-Kit the Sharc boots from an onboard 8-bit parallel flash memory in SPI slave mode, but I generally load programs from a debugger.

What is the standard method for programming flash memory in production? My project only uses a single program, so I only need to worry about making sure the Sharc boot properly.

Thanks,

Emmett
