I want to trim the calibration error of a AD595AQ. I wonder how to do it (step
by step). I saw this option in the AN-369 (page 4), but it is not described how
to carry it out. I have some idea but i am not completly sure.
Answer
On page 4 figure 5 of the AN-369 this is clarified. You just need an external
potentiometer + a couple of resistors to minimize the calibration error. As pin
5 is generating a voltage corresponding to a negative temperature, you can use
it to compensate for the offset by applying a fraction of this voltage to pin
#3.
