Question
I was designing a circuit board to amplify some temperatures.
The AD595 sems to me the best solution.
But the problem I have is that my connection between the thermocouple and the
copper wire can have a different temperature to the IC.
So my question now:
Can you give me an examplesolution or some tricks to crate a cold junction
compensated board?
Thank you very much ahead!
Answer
Basically, you need to do one of two things.
1) Connect the Thermocouple wires straigh to the IC pins (1 & 14)itself, on the
PCB Board. It is not good to connect the Thermocouple onto a PCB, or to copper
wires. This is probably the best option.
2) The other option is the to use an iso thermal Block.
