In the MAX30002 datasheet you might notice that:
Figure 9 shows a 47nF capacitor connected directly into the electrodes from the DRVP pin.
Figure 10 shows a 47nF capacitor connected through a 200ohm resistor into the electrodes from the DRVP pin.
Which one is correct?
This won't really make much difference for the MAX30002 it will just remove the effect of the 200Ohm resistor (small relative to the total network impedance) from the DRV signal, the datasheets states that only a 47uF capacitor is necessary to connect between DRV_ and the electrode so you can follow the setup in the MAX30001EVKIT that uses the method in figure 9 rather than figure 10.
