Question
I need some clarification on accuracy specs:
(1)I would expect that the ( relative) accuracy co-efficient is after factory
calibrating out null and offset ? can you confirm.
2)does this refer to relative accuracy error at 0degrees ?
3) expect it should, but can you confirm.
Answer
The accuracy specs are relative to a perfect line between 0 and 360 degrees and
assume that the initial starting point is set to 0 (or a reference angle). The
gain and offset calibration on done at the factory but do not reflect
temperature or power supply dependent behaviors. The ADIS16209 will get them a
lot closer to 0.1 degrees over temperature. The ADIS16203 will likely be
~+/-1deg accurate over their conditions, where the ADIS16209 will be ~0.25deg.
Some of the parts will likely perform to 0.09 degree over a 0 to 360 degree
range, from 20 to 30C.
