Could you please let me know the function of the VMID Pin?
In the Documentation of the EVAL Board – this Pin is marked DNC – but nowhere
mentioned what VMID might mean
Answer
VMID is a voltage that is created internal to the part, and we need access to
it internally. It is not a customer pin and ideally the pin name VMID not be on
customer breakout boards. However, it seems in this case we used the same
design for internal and external boards, so the name has escaped! Please be
sure to follow the documentation requirement and treat this pin as a DNC (Do
Not Connect).
