Maximum number of TMP05 sensors that can be daisy-chained together?

Is there a practical limit to the number of TMP05 sensors that can be daisy chained together?

As I understand the data sheet, the "next" TMP05 in a daisy-chain simply passes along the PWM signal coming into Pin 2 (CONV/IN) through Pin 1 (OUT) and then appends its measurement to the PWM signal train.

However, does the input signal degrade significantly as it passes through the daisy chain or are there other limits? In my application, we would look to have approximately 50-80 temperature measurement points in a single string...

    Hi Robert,

    I'm afraid I don't have characterization data available I could share with you in an application with such amount of TMP05 sensors connected in a daisy chain. However, to my understanding there should be no degradation in the signal after being passed through some devices.
