Tranducer P/N AD592ANZ

We are using the temperature transducer P/N: AD592ANZ to build a sub-assembly that requires a wire for the and another one for the   also the center pole (NC) is required to cut off, our question is if there is a way to test the transducer using a fluke multimeter? if i check the resistance from the to the  I get a reading of 1 Mohms, at 72 degrees F. will this be consider as normal? or can you recommend a method to test this transducer without having to do a circuit or inputting power.

    Hi,

What we recommend requires power. Supply 5V to the + pin, place 1k resister at the - pin going to ground and measure the voltage across the resister, as in Figure 4 of the AD592 datasheet, and check if the output tracks.

    Regards,

    Karen
