There is no direct way to correlation between obscuration and PTR values for all types of smoke as each type has different reflective properties, and there is a large reflectance componant in the way the optics work. However for a given typ of smoke obscuration and PTR track linearly. The ADSW_SMOKEALGO works by inteligently identifying the type of smoke and dynamically shifting the smoke thresholds.
as i saw this forum i get the idea to calculate the obscuration from ptr and obscuration sensitivity coefficient Calculation of PTR and the relationship between PTR and obscuration is this right way to calculate obscuration and as i know for sensitivity we can calculate through obscuration (n) - obscuration (n-1) is it right way to do it ?
