connecting LTM4657 TSENSE+ & TSENSE- to LTC2991 to monitor temperature

Yes the LTC2991 is compatible with the Tsense+ and Tsense- of the LTM2657, and you can use it to monitor the temperature of the said device.

I have the following connections:
   LTM2657.Tsense+  to  LTC2991.V7
   LTM2657 Tsense-  to   LTC2991.V8

When reading the external diode temperature on V7-V8, the temp readings go down as the device heats up.
Did I connect the diode reversed ?
