Hi
Can LTC2983 data memory (0x030~0x033) be read once and then read again ?
Will the data in LTC2983 data memory (0x030~0x033) disappear if it is not read for a few days?
Best regards

Hi Kokubo,
The EEPROM able to save the contents of the user RAM even power cycles. The user just have to tell the LTC2983 to read the contents back from EEPROM into user RAM. For more information on the device EEPROM, you may check page 23 on LTC2983 datasheet.

Hi Mae san
LTC2983 does not have EEPROM.

Hi Kokubo san,
My apology, I was referring to LTC2984 device with EEPROM.
For the LTC2983, it uses a static RAM to store results. Data can be read multiple times as long as the power is kept on. Data is lost when power is removed.

Hi Mae san
Thank you for your reply.
Our cutomer is in trouble because the data may not be read out normally after not accessing LTC2983 for a long time. After the measurement start command, CS becomes L during conversion and SCK does not operate for some time. Is there any possibility that such an operation will cause a problem?
