What happens if the user try to access the first phase of the start-up sequence when the status register is not accessible?

During initial power up, all the status register are initialized to zero. This will then followed by the digital initialization where the command status register will return to 0x80 for about 100ms. Once the initialization process is complete, the command status register will return to 0x40. The whole process would take less than 200ms.
