TMP36 pressure limits

Thread Summary

The user inquires about the pressure tolerance of the TMP36 temperature sensor for a rocket engine project, specifically if it can withstand 58 bars. The final answer suggests contacting the Temperature Sensors forum on Analog Devices' EngineerZone for more detailed information, as the datasheet does not specify pressure limits.

Hiya all,

I'm in a student project to design a rocket engine. I need a temperature sensor in the main tank that must be able to withstand  a pressure of approx. 58 bars. I found the TMP36 (https://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/data-sheets/TMP35_36_37.pdf) , which seemed pretty attractive, however, its datasheet does not mention any pressure limits. Anybody have any idea if such a probe could bear that kind of pressure? Or even who I might contact to get more info? I tried finding a contact form on Analog's website, where I found the probe.
