Question
I am considering the ADG453BR for a new design because of its low on
resistance. The objective is to use 2 SPST channels to make a DPST switch (by
connecting the outputs). The signal inputs are TTL compatible and the signal
outputs are sent to a current feedback amplifier for amplification.
In a first instance, the signal frequency will be limited to 1 MHz but in
future applications, this signal should go up to 30MHz.
Is this a viable solution?
What kind of performance can I expect when the component is powered with a
single supply +12V (the datasheet only gives information on the frequency
response for +15,-15V and 50 ohm load)?
Answer
There will be very little difference between the On frequency response of the
ADG453 switch operating from a +/-15V supply and a 12V supply. If you are not
concerned about the -1.5dB loss at 30MHz then this part should be a viable
solution for your application.
