Q
Can I use the ADG708 to multiplex 3V3 logic signals? The specification suggeststhe logic levels are OK as long as I power the ADG708 using a 3V3 supply. Is
there anything else I should be considering re. this? (The logic speed is
1Mb/s).
A
I don't see any problems, you can use the ADG708 for multiplexing (ordemultiplexing) digital signals as long as your logic levels are within 300mV
of Vss and Vdd. The 3V3 logic and supply you have should meet this requirement.
The ADG708 does not have a clock, it responds to the Channel select addresses
sent to A0, A1 & A2 as long as EN is high (logic 1).
It will remain in the state set by the channel address until a new address is
sent to the above pins or the IC is powered off (or disabled by the EN pin
going low).
