I'm working on a VGA protect circuitry using MAX14895EETE however I realized that voltage drop of +5V across current limit switch is too high (max. 0.25v when IL=60mA),Does Maxim have detailed test report on integrated current limit switch of MAX14895E
This part is intended to drive continuous USB loads less than 100mA, for applications, there is at least 4.5V supplied to USB at 60mA load. We get up to 240mV with 8.6 sigma at 85C. We test at room and correlate to hot.the voltage drop is very linear with load until about 20-25mA before current limit kicks in. Looks like a resistor from 0-100mA.
