    Dear Experts !
    
 
    I need some advice using AD8102 as a SDI signal switcher. Input of switch is SD/HD/3G-SDI and it will operate as a 4:1 switcher.

      Is the ADN8102 going to interface to the SDI cable or is it going to be used to switch the differential signal? The SDI cable is single-ended and has an impedance of 75 ohms. The ADN8102 and all X-stream devices are designed to interface to differential signal paths with 100-ohm differential impedances.  You want to make sure the interfaces are compatible. 
      
 
      Other than this concern, the ADN8102 will support the data rate, timing, and electrical level specifications of the SDI protocol.  You may be interested in looking at the AD8156, which is a 6.5 Gbps, 4x4 crosspoint switch, or the ADN4600, which is an 4.25 Gbps, 8x8 crosspoint switch for this application as well. Both products will support SDI and provide more switching flexibility then the ADN8102.
