AD5274 I2C controlable potentiometer programming issue

Hey to you all,

I have a stupid problem, like problems mostly are.

I use a AD5274, it is a I2C controllable potentiometer, you can set the potentiometer value by sending a 8 bit value towards its RDAC register, and when it is fine for you, you can give a command to store this RDAC value into memory. After a power cycle the last programmed RDAC value will be used to configure the wiper position.

All works fine until now. I can configure and even program I get ACK from the device but after doing a power cycle to last programmed value isn't coming back. I checked everything but can not find a reason why it wont do what it should be. Does anyone have experience whit this device?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi Peter,

Could you clarify your problem? ie. the fuses wont get programmed, fuses blown correctly but the part does not power in the correct position...

do you read bit C3 after programming the part?

do you read the last memory location?

    Best regards,
