Simple question
How to find "make-before-break" SW
I use selection table and found ADG1312 or AD1419.
but datasheet say these are "break before make".
At all, what means about "make-before-break" in analog SW ?

Hi moto,
Unfortunately ADI does not have any make before break switches available.
However by changing the load on the output of the switch you can make the part act like a make before break switch. This has drawbacks with respect to how fast the switch can be toggled and so any change to the load will affect the other specs on the data sheet.
If you need any other details let me know.

Wow!
Thank you very much for very prompt answer.
I would like to make sure,
You mean we should design "make-before-break" using the feature of delay ?

Hi moto,
Yes by changing the load so as it holds whatever was sampled for longer you can mimic the make before break characteristic. You should be careful not to create any shorts that can damage equipment when using this work around.

Joe
Dear Mr.Joe
Thank you very much for your support.
I'll take care of that.
