Hello all,
I want to implement robust 4:1 analog mux, where the signal range is nominally 0-34V and was looking at using the ADG5409. However, it's likely that the signal will actually go below 0V slightly due to ground bounce and so on. So would it be okay to operate the ADG5409 with dual supplies, with GND=0, VDD>34V, and Vss set to something small like -1V? Basically I'm wondering if there's a minimum voltage that must be applied between GND and Vss to get the thing to actually work properly in the negative signal range. I'm aware the part is specified for single or dual supplies operation, but there's no spec for such an asymmetric dual supply.
