ADV3202 - cropped video signals

Thread Summary

The user encountered a problem with the ADV3202 where all output video signals were cropped at 900 mV and no sync was transmitted. Despite trying various configurations for VCLAMP and VREF, and following multiple troubleshooting steps, the issue persisted. The final suggestion was to increase the DC offset of the video input signal as a workaround, but the user is seeking a solution using ±2.5 V levels.

Hello everybody,

I have a problem using the ADV3202. All output video signals are cropped at about 900 mV in a manner, that no sync is transmitted. VPOS is connected to +5 V, VNEG is connected to GND, VREF is supplied with 2.5 V and VCLAMP is connected to GND as well. (I tried several connections for VCLAMP and VREF, but neither worked)

Attached I have a snippet of the schematic and a sample of input and output video signal.

Can you please give me a hint to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.
