Will ADG436 will operate at 24V single supply ?

Thread Summary

The ADG436 can operate at a 24V single supply with analog inputs ranging from 0V to 24V. For digital control signals, the logic threshold voltage increases with supply voltage; the user should refer to AN-680 for a plot of VL versus logic threshold voltage, tested up to 17V, to estimate the values at 24V.

Will ADG436 will operate at 24V single supply with Inputs ranging from 0V to 24V ? What will be the digital input control signal levels (Vih min & Vil max) in that case ?

  • Hi Sankar,

The part will operate with a 24V single supply.  The analog signal input range is 0 to Vdd so it will work up to the supply range.  On the digital control signal side. See the AN-680 app note, it has a plot of VL versus logic threshold voltage.  The only thing is is was only tested up to 17V, I don't know what it would be like at 24V.  but for sure the threshold will keep rising as you go above 17V, maybe you can make an estimate from the plot.

    Regards,

    Eric.
