I just got the following 2 questions from our cusotmer.
1)As for C24 pin
Does this connect to DVcc?
Your schematic of evalboard (5/6) shows it 3 FVcc s, maybe it is typo, I think.
Your datasheet shows it DVcc this is corrct I think.
Please confirm this.
2)Supply to DVcc
Your evalboard have got the power from 2 another sources 3.3V.
Can we supply this 3.3V from same power device?
Otherwise should we separate these 3.3V?
I need your good comment about this.
1. Pin C24 should connect to the DVcc supply which is 3.3V.
2. The ADN4605 has four distinct supply pins (actually 5 including ground): VCC, DVCC, VTTI, and VTTO
VCC, VTTI, VTTO can operate on over a nominal range of 2.5V to 3.3V, where DVCC only operates at a nominal supply level of 3.3V. If your design only requires the supply domains to operate at 3.3V, then all of the supply pins can be connected to the same (or single) 3.3V source.
The evaluation board provides the ADP122 linear regulator chips to provide the static 3.3V supply for the DVCC pins only. The VCC/VTTI/VTTO pins supply voltage is controlled by the external power supply module and allows the user to either set it to 2.5V or 3.3V. The ADP122 regulator cannot provide enough source current (only 300mA) for the entire ADN4605 chip so it is not suitable to power the entire device. The ADN4605 in full power mode can sink > 2.5A of current so if it is desired to power the entire device from a single 3.3V supply then please make sure the power distribution network can source the full range of the current.
