ADG1412 - When IN signal is Logic "1" the switch is activated meaning closed. The data sheet says S and D terminals could both be Input/Output. Does this mean S and D are shore circuited when IN is logic 1 ?

Does the Analog mux act like S and D terminals short circuited when IN is ON ?

  • David,

I understand that the Voltage across the S/D terminals cannot exceed Vdd - Vss.

This is tricky because the ADG14xx is a switch, when it is ON behaves like a wire but in the range of Vdd-Vss.

Looks like we have to use ADG5412/ADG5413 for higher voltage range.

    Please clarify.
