HMC8038

With reference to the above mentioned part.Please let me know,whether the RFC and RF1,RF2 pins can withstand a voltage of 24V?

    Hi Anush,

    By your question, I am assuming it is 24Vpp signal in a 50 Ohms system at your chosen frequency of operation. Please note, the HMC8038 requires DC blocking capacitors if the RF line potential is not equal to 0V.

    For the HMC8038, we have different power handling specifications depending on the VDD bias voltage, temperature of operation, and operation case (through path, terminated path, or hot switching). All this information is specified in the datasheet.

    Please refer to the recommended operating conditions (page 3) of the datasheet for details on power handling, in conjunction with Figure 2 (page 5).
