Hello,
I'm looking for a laser/VCSEL driver for use in a low-power communications system. I'm ideally looking for a driver than can achieve modulation up to ~200MHz, with modulation current between 3mA and 25mA. I'd also ideally like to use this for PAM-4 modulation, so I'd like a driver that can accommodate multiple output powers. The MAX3996 would seem suitable for a single channel, except it is not recommended for new designs and cannot achieve multi-level output. Could you please suggest alternatives.
