I'm trying to use the switches MAX14774 and MAX20337 to break or close an Ethernet cable signal like RX+ with Ethernet magnetics in both ends. In my LTspice test circuit this is not working.
None seem to respond to the control signal. MAX14774 is always transmitting the Ethernet signal and the MAX20337 transmitted a distorted (AC-coupled?) Ethernet signal. The Ethernet test bench (from Wurth) is generating +- 0.8V bipolar signals, 18ns wide and a 65ns duty cycle.
