Can the inputs be tied together for switching without shoot through on the output?
Can the inputs be tied together for switching without shoot through on the output?
Hi MDenomme955,
The ADG1636 has a Break-Before-Make Switching action so there should not have shoot through at the output of the switch.
Let me know if this helps.

Just to verify my intentions have been communicated properly.
Can the in1 and in2 pins be tied together so the adg1636 will operate as a dpdt switch? Or is the break before make action only applicable per channel?
Hi MDenomme955,
Apologies for the confusion, I thought the inputs mentioned above was meant for Sx/Dx pins.
Can you share your schematic so we can understand your application requirement properly? How do you intend to use the DPDT switch? Will you use differential pair signal for this configuration?
