I use a ADG1419 with ±15 V DUAL SUPPLY. I connect first a mechanical switch for command (switch from +15V to 0V).
All is ok.
After that, I replace the mechanical switch by a digital output from a digital computer card (generate from 0 to 5V) : The ADG1419 switch doesn't switch !!!?
I don't understand why so :
- I tried with a function generator : frequency 1Hz, amplitude 0 to 5Vp triangle wave : The ADG1419 never switch
- I tried with a function generator : frequency 1Hz, amplitude 0 to 5Vp square wave : The ADG1419 switch normally each 1 sec
I think that the ADG1419 change is state when the logic input rise/drop upper/under a level.
With the test above it seems that the duration of the front on logic input have a incidence?
Do you have an explication ?...
I do not have an explanation for this, Once the control input goes above 2 V the device should switch.
