ADG467 - what is the minimal bipolar supply voltage ?

Hi,

We aim to protect the ADC inputs using an ADG467. We currently are using +/-3.6V to supply it, targetting to clip the input signals to +/-2.1V.

Initial tests look OK, but I'd like to have a cross-checking from you.

Thanks in advance

    Hi Allein,

For this channel protector we have a minimum bipolar supply range rating of +/-4.5V in Table1.  You going down to +/-3.6V is below this so performance would not be guaranteed. You will see a large variation in Ron versus input voltage when using low supplies, see Figure 6 in the datasheet.  It is difficult to say all the effects at such a low voltage supply.

    Regards,
    Eric.
