ADGM1304 quesion

Hi Sir,

After learned , I don't know why need to have VCP pin ?

When will I use to this pin , connect it to 80V, and there is  any advantage  ? Or when have to use it?

Thank you!

    Hi Ryan,

Vcp pin is needed to apply 80V externally to the pin to drive the switches if you are not using internal charge pump to eliminate noise associated with the internal oscillator. To disable the charge pump on the ADGM1304 set the CLKSEL pin high and the EXTCLK pin low. Then 80V must be applied to the Vcp pin and the switch can be controlled as normal via the logic interface pins.
