Module 'iio' has no attribute 'fmcomms6_source_f32c' in GNU Radio on Kuiper Linux installed on ZC702

What is the exact error you have? The title doesn't point to any block we have (there is not fmcomms6).

Also what is on your PYTHONPATH? Can you run in python:

import iio

print(dir(iio))

print(iio.__file__)

Hello, thanks a lot for the reply. I made a mistake, I'm really sorry. It's about a FMComms5, I made a typo. Sadly I left it at the office, I'll try running that script when I get back to it and show the content of PYTHONPATH. Thanks again!

Hello. I returned to the office this morning to document everything, sorry for the long time.
First: the error that I get when running GNU Radio using sudo is this:


Second: The PYTHONPATH from what I can gather is empty, using a Python script to find it.

I think it has something to do with the PYTHONPATH, even though I ran the export command from the official guide. I'm looking forward to your reply.

From the second image you can see that these components of the IIO module are related to the libiio bindings and not the gr-iio module.

You need to make sure that the gr-iio module (this is a folder and not a single file) is in a folder on your PYTHONPATH.

Second, the existing libiio bindings (iio.py file) is not on your PYTHONPATH.

I hope I did it correctly. I tried exporting the path for the gr-iio after emptying it, but I'm not very sure if I did it correctly. I might just reinstall the OS then trying to export the gr-iio path again.

When you run "make install" from the gr-iio module it will put files somewhere. It actually prints it out. That target location (where the iio folder is created) needs to be on your PYTHONPATH.

I tried doing that, but the only folder named gr-iio is a flatpak folder related to Scopy, apparently. "Make install" did not work. I tried locating the iio folder and added it to the PYTHONPATH and it still gave me the same error. I think I will just make a fresh install and then try to follow the same steps as you told me. I'll be sure to point to which step solved my problem once I do solve it.

The folder the make install creates is called iio, which is why it is a namespace collision with the libiio python bindings.

I think I managed to find it, and add it to the PYTHONPATH. But the error persists, even after a fresh install.

Did you do the second task (remove iio.py from PYTHONPATH)?
