• LTC4009 -- Charge Current programming

    I'm using LTC4009 for charging  a 9Ah/4.2V LiPo battery and want to adapt it to support other batteries using the PWM methon on the PROG pin.

    On page 15 of the datasheet is an equation that calculates Icharge for values of Rin, Rsense and Rprog.

  • LTC4009 RPROG when RIN=o

    I will use LTC4009 with  shorting CLP and CLN

    In that case, what will happen to the Rprog (min) formula described in the data sheet P15?
    (Please tell me the concept of R for this terminal connection)

    问题1:给电池充电时电感会发生啸叫,充满电啸叫声也停止,

    问题2:空载时给电池充电,充满电后,电流稳定在一个值,但是带负载给电池充电,充满电后电流会跳变;

    求解答,有没有遇到类似状况

    Hello,

    You are right that it does not exist in LTSpice. You could consider working with LTC4009 which does have a model and is somewhat similar.

    Alternatively, you can order a demo board for LTC4007 and just work with that.
