• LTC3869 Current Limit Behavior

    Hi,

    I encounter a issue about current limit hysteresis too large

    While 12Vin->7.9Vo/14A Full load is normal, the ocp point is around 19A.

    However the recovery point is around 10A back to normal operation.

    Is there any possible to this ?

    最近要做一些高电压转低压,大电流的方案,有个疑问:1、控制器(LTC3829、LTC3869等这样的芯片)有个输入电压,看了一下这些芯片的内部结构图,这个电压进来后只是给内部提供控制、配置等,那么这个电压是否可以和外面高侧MOS的输入电压不一样,或者低于MOS输入电压(如图中两个红色框框),另外或者像LTC3869直接不接Vin引脚,直接外部提供电源给EXTVCC,这样是否可行?

    2、第二个问题,用LTPOWER CAD软件仿真时,发现输入输出电压压差越大,效率会降低,但是想不出来理论依据,请从理论上解释一下…

    Hello

    Our customer will use LTC3869.

    He will measure top of LTC3869 for measuring junction temperature.

    Data sheet does not say that  theta jc of LTC3869EUFD#TRPBF.

    Please let me know your advice about theta jc of LTC3869EUFD
