I need to design a 10-13V input and 12V/50+A output module using LTC3779, I have some questions below.
1. how I could sync 2 chips using PLL in ? is there is any reference design could provide ?
2. what I could do if I try to use more than 2 chips…
When LTC3779 Vin=Vout=12V in different load, got different Vout values.
Do you know how to fix Vout=12V±0.2%(max)? Or the accuracy should be how much % ?
Vo=12.05V at 10W
Vo=11.90V at 100W
Vo=11.70V at 200W
I'm using the LTC3779 in boost mode, Vin 18-36V and Vout 40V.
When the input voltage is around 33V-36V there is a noticeable jitter in the switching measurement (and also a loud sound) .
At higher voltages than 36V the problem disappears.
The LTC3779 has operating temperatures stated as between -40C and 150C but storage temps of -65C to 150C. Has there been any characterisation done to operating down at -55C and if so is there any data available ?
