Hi, I'm using the LT1461 4.096V version as an ADC reference for the AD7989-5. I have the output decoupled with a 10uF X5R 50V ceramic capacitor. Input power is +5V.
For my noise test my DC input voltages are
VIN- = 3.96V
VIN+ = 0.13V
I perform…
In my circuit, shutdown pin is left open and the output voltage has changed from 2.990V to 3.000V in a hour
When I shutdown pin leave open, is output voltage affected?
Or do I have any other potential problem in my circuit when the output voltage change…
Hi ADI team,
There are four DNC pin for LT1461, and I found that the DC impedance is only 5ohm between pin7 and pin8. Another samples show around 0.83Kohm between pin7 and pin8, and the voltage works well for 3V output.
I put my all measurement below…
What is the output impedance of LT1461?

I'd like to place a 5v and a 4.096v LT1461 in series driven from the same 12v rail to get a 9.096v output at 50mA. Is this possible or will I have issues floating one above ground in this fashion?
Hi,
There is no long term stability data available for the LTC2312 internal reference. If this is important to you I would recommend using a different ADC that supports using an external reference with specified long term stability. An example would be…
