• RE: RF OUT of Eval_HMC836LP6CE is too weak

    Besides the mismatch of  the HMC836 bias network and values with the eval board, can it be the wrong(or inproper )    PLL Eval Software's settings that  makes the  output power weak?

    The HMC836 output component values should match the following and the eval board number is 125998-3.  Use the "hmc836_Frac" eval board register configuration file.

    R8=22

    L4=1.5nH

    L1=10nH

    C8=8.2pF

    C29=1.2pF

    C31=not install…

    想利用HMC836LP6CE产生一个3.5GHz的正弦信号,但是根据ADI上面的提供的USER-GUIDE操作时发现完全得不到正确信号,所产生的RF输出正弦波,不仅频率只有大概1.6GHz左右,而且Vpp大概只有15mV,而根据说明书上这个信号的典型值是6dbm,即便最低也有-1dbm,换算成Vpp的话大概是Vpp也有563mV。因此想请教一下有没有用过这款PLL的高手,指导一下。谢谢了!!!
