    Unlike many other Analog Devices parts, there's no detailed User Guide for the HMC613 eval board. Datasheet pages 8 & 9 are intended to serve that purpose.

    Have you looked at the SDLVA products?  They are much flatter over frequency than the traditional log amps.  Try looking at: HMC613, HMC813, HMC913 or HMC1013.
