• [HMC1105] pads 1,3,4,6 ground

    Hello, I have a question about ground pads 1,3,4,6 of Hittite HMC1105 frequency doubler.

    When I see the assembly diagram of the datasheet, 1,3,4,6 pads are not wire bonded to the ground.

    However, the pad descriptions of the datasheet say 1,3,4,6 pads…

    Please share any complete s-parameter data for HMC576LC3B, HMC-APH596, HMC1105.

    Requirement: Inputs as s1p (both IRL and ORL) or s2p for simulation models and also to cross-check our measured results.

    Any suggestions/feedback also welcome.

    Hi, we are currently doing some system analysis with HMC1081 and HMC1105. I see many other chips having their S parameters provided. I wonder if you could send me the S parameters for HMC1081 and HMC1105?

    The HMC598 & HMC579 are frequency doublers with outputs up to 46GHz (in addition to the HMC1105 which has output of 40-80GHz).

    You need a PLL which drives a frequency doubler which drives an amplifier. Possible choices might be ADF4371 (PLL),  HMC1105 (frequency doubler) and HMC7229 (amplifier). These are not the only choices.
