    The adxrs642 and Adxrs646 are low price gyroscopes. i'm confused to choose one of them for my IMU/AHRS!!

    the ADXRS646 have better performance(12°/hr bias stability) but ADXRS642 have more better temperature stability.

    Hi Greg,

    Yes, it is one of the gyros used by automotive customers for roll-over detection and yaw rate sensing for electronic stability control.  We also have the ADXRS642, ADXRS652 and digital output ADXRS800.

    The output of any gyro (e.g ADXRS620, ADXRS642, ADXRS290) corresponds to the rotation rate (or rpm) along the sensitive axis, so you can use any single axis gyro for the RPM measurement.  For tilt, the simplest solution would be to use a 3-axis accelerometer…
