• Clarification on ADXRS624 specs

    I'm trying to replace a MuRata  angular velocity sensor, P/N: ENV-05DB. It is a simple 3  pin chip, single axis, analog device
    with supply voltage of 5 volts. Its null voltage at 0 degrees in 2.5 volts.

    In the specs for the ADXRS624, it says the output…

  • ADXRS624/3/0 - HV filter capacitor - 0.1uF

    Hi,

    Is it ok to put extra capacitors (CDR32 - 0.022uF+0.022uF) in parallel with the HV filter capacitor of 0.1uF across CP5 pin?

    Will it result in any untoward performance?

    I have an ADXRS624 evaluation board. When powered at 5V, I'm getting a rate output of 0.75V, and about 0.25V from the temp pin.

    Out of curiosity, what lead to your selection of the ADXRS624?  Unfortunately, that board was not designed for this type of use case, but I suspect that you could attached one side of it some some sort of pliable; RTV perhaps?
