Schematic and Layout below. VIN = 3.3V from ADP7102-3.3. EN pin is driven high by a 3.3V MCU. Desired output voltage is 5V.
The exact components used were:L8 (1.5uH) , C36 (47uF), C37(10uF) and C35(100nF).
No pin compatible replacement for ADP3333.
For ADP3338, I found the fixed version of LT1117 as same pinouts but is only up to 800mA & has higher dropout voltage.

Note 12V could not supply to this due to that eval board SDP-B was broken also my PC/ USB BUS.......
ADP7102 and FDN335/FET can accept 12V no problem.
J2 on ADUX1020 MCM board was also offed=opened.

actually we are no longer so space constrained.. so we could even use 0603, but its not possible to put them close to the IC pins.. just no room.
